Nonprofit Solutions

I help nonprofits steady their operations through two types of support: Operations Training and Fractional COO Retainers. Each path strengthens how people, processes, and systems work together so daily operations run smoothly, even through change or limited capacity.

Strategic Operations Consulting

For executive directors who need guidance before taking action. I review how your people, processes, and tools work day-to-day, then outline what to fix first to strengthen delivery and reporting. You’ll get a clear, practical plan that helps you focus resources, protect staff capacity, and stay fundable before investing in training or deeper operational support.

Operate Better Training

Before you add new tools, systems, or AI, make sure your operations can handle them. Operate Better Training™ helps nonprofit teams fix what’s slowing them down, strengthen accountability, and build structure that keeps programs running smoothly even when staff or funding shifts. Through practical, hands-on sessions, I teach leaders and staff how to follow through, manage priorities, and use the tools they already have more effectively. Each session is built around your team’s real capacity and designed to make daily work simpler.

Focus areas include: role clarity, workflow design, reporting visibility, communication habits, knowledge management, tool alignment, and responsible use of AI to support team capacity.

What happens:
We start by identifying one area that slows your team down, such as reporting, communication, workload, or accountability. Then I design a simple, sustainable framework your team can use every day.We work inside your existing platforms like Microsoft 365, Google, or AI tools to strengthen coordination and keep goals visible.

What you get:
• A practical framework your team can use immediately
• Step-by-step examples tailored to your existing tools
• A simple reference sheet to keep things consistent after training
• Optional follow-up session to review progress and fine-tune

What it does for you:
Your team learns how to stay organized, communicate clearly, and follow through on what matters so programs stay steady even when workloads shift or staff change. You leave with a structure that supports your mission instead of working against it.

Format:

Each session runs 90 minutes and focuses on one operational area that needs improvement. Sessions can be booked as a single workshop, a short three-part series, or a half-day session for teams that want deeper collaboration. Training can be delivered virtually or in person based on your team’s needs.

Fractional COO Retainers

Ongoing operational support to align people, process, and priorities. Choose the level that fits your organization.

20 hours per month: Operations Starter

I help your operations get off to a solid start.

What happens:

You’ll get an initial review of how your people, budgets, tools, and systems work together, with a plan that shows what to fix first. Each month, I review key operational areas to see what’s working and what needs attention. Then I give you a short list of practical steps to move things forward. If you need help pulling a board report together or figuring out where the money is going, I can help with that, too.

What you get:
• A monthly summary of what matters most and what to tackle next
• A running list of action items to stay focused on what matters
• A quick call if something urgent comes up

What it does for you:
You get relief from day-to-day operational headaches. You know what to focus on. You have a plan that fits your capacity and keeps you moving.

30-Hour Retainer: Operations Builder

You pick one thing that is just not working, and I fix it so it stays fixed.

What happens:
Everything from the 20-hour tier, plus hands-on support to repair one system that keeps slowing things down, such as client intake, reporting, data tracking, or workload problems. I map it out, show your team how it should work, train them to run it, and document the process so the knowledge stays even when people leave.

What you get:
• One area of operations rebuilt to run smoothly, supported by a short how-to guide
• Training for your staff so they can manage it confidently
• Clear written instructions and a troubleshooting guide anyone can follow

What it does for you:
You stop depending on one person to get things done. One less thing breaks every month. Your team has what they need to keep things running, and your institutional knowledge is protected.

40-Hour Retainer: Strategic Operations Partner

I help you juggle multiple priorities at once and keep them all moving forward.

What happens:
Everything from the 30-hour tier, plus coordination of two or three major projects such as rolling out your strategic plan, launching a new program, or implementing new technology. I coordinate across departments so things do not slip, track resources and budgets, and give you updates you can use in leadership meetings or with funders.

What you get:
• A monthly report showing what is moving, what is stuck, and what needs a decision
• A simple dashboard to see KPI progress and key metrics at a glance
• Support preparing for or running leadership meetings when needed

What it does for you:
Your team knows what to do and when. Your board and funders see visible progress. You get to focus on strategy and finally sleep better.

The difference between tiers:
20 hours = I tell you what needs fixing.
30 hours = I fix one thing with you.
40 hours = I help you fix several things and keep them on track.
